When
would I need a hot topical treatment?
To treat painful conditions such as rheumatic pain, sciatica,
lumbago or fibrositis. Hot treatment is also very effective
as a follow up to cold treatment, which is frequently
recommended for sports and other activity injuries. Apply
the cold treatment, then, when the swelling and inflammation
has subsided, apply the hot treatment
How do hot topical treatments
work?
They contain a special blend of ingredients that, together
with a massage, provide a penetrating warmth to relieve
pain and relax stiff muscles. Typical ingredients are
a counter irritant to provide a tingling, pain relieving
sensation; a warming rubefacient to dilate the blood vessels,
re-oxygenate the tissues and relax the muscles; and a
natural analgesic, which is absorbed through the skin.
Which formulation should
I use?
For general pains in
the muscles and joints, massage in Deep Heat Rub. Rub
is ideal for a massage, which helps to relax the muscles.
Use Deep Heat Spray for difficult to reach areas.
Why is Deep Heat so effective?
Deep Heat provides all three beneficial effects - a counter
irritant and rubefacient plus a naturally occurring analgesic
which, when absorbed through the skin, may be converted
into pain relieving aspirin-like substance. Together these
ingredients provide a penetrating, comforting warmth and
fast effective pain relief.
Where can I buy Deep
Heat?
Deep Heat is available from all leading pharmacies and
supermarkets.
