When to use & How it works

Deep Heat Muscle Rescue Heat Spray provides fast acting, targeted, soothing relief to help ease tight, tense muscles. Can be used before and after exercise.

Penetrating heat helps relax stiff, tense muscles to restore movement.

Heat increases blood flow to the affected area, providing oxygen and nutrients to aid recovery.

How to use

Shake well, hold can 15cm from the skin and spray onto the desired area in 2-3 short bursts. Use as required.
People experience warmth differently: apply sparingly on first application, reapplying after 15 minutes if a stronger effect is desired.

Caution: Spray in a well-ventilated room and avoid direct inhalation. Do not spray near eyes, mouth or nose. All products that heat the skin can potentially cause skin irritation and more rarely, burns and blisters. Mild reddening of the skin is to be expected, discontinue use in the case of excessive irritation, redness or itching. Do not cover with an occlusive dressing.


Do not use: alongside products containing wintergreen oil or methyl salicylate, or if allergic to any of the ingredients; on children under 12; on broken or irritated skin; if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can Deep Heat products be used by diabetics?

Before you use Deep Heat products you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other regular medication. This includes medicines prescribed by your doctor and medicines that you have bought without prescription.


Can Deep Heat products be used at the same time as oral painkillers?

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist before using any Deep Heat medicines if you are taking or have recently taken oral painkillers or any other medicines. This includes medicines you have bought without a prescription. There is no reason why Deep Heat Pain Relief Patches, Warming Belt, Muscle Rescue Heat Spray or Muscle Massage Roll-on cannot be used at the same time as oral painkillers.


Can Deep Heat products be used on broken/infected/inflamed skin?

Do not use Deep Heat products on broken, infected or inflamed skin.


Can you use Deep Heat products if you are pregnant or breastfeeding?

As with all pain relieving products, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Deep Heat during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine in pregnancy.
