My husband rubbed a small amount into my shoulders and it absorbed really quickly. I could feel it going to work within a couple of minutes and it was nice to smell a slightly herbal fragrance rather than the classic deep heat smell. I have to say it relieved my tension for the rest of the evening and helped me to have a nice, relaxed sleep. Found the product very easy to use especially with the sponge applicator which means the actual cream is not coming into contact with hands. First time using it tho felt very hot like a burning sensation to the area I applied it to but this may have been due to applying to much. After the first use I ensured only applied a bit. The cream is very fast acting and did what it requires as after 20 minutes any aching or pain in my shoulder area had eased meaning not having to take over the counter analgesia like I normally would do. The sponge applicator made it easier to reach hard to reach areas such as my back and shoulders. But the thing I really like is that you can unscrew the sponge applicator and use it as a squeeze tube, which can help reduce waste. The product has a pleasant warming sensation and is not as extreme and some of its counterparts, but is still really effective. It only took one application to reduce the pain. I thought I&rsquo;d give this a try, I like the aroma. It actually reminds me of vapour rub. You also get this applicator which saves putting it on your hands. It is a warning cream but it took a fair few applications before I felt any effect. Then it gave a slight tingly warm sensation. I think I was expecting it to work like some of the stronger Deep heat products which give instant and sometimes extreme warming sensations but this seems to be a completely different product and it may be because it is aimed specifically at the neck area (&amp; shoulder) and therefore close to the face. It was particularly good on my neck where I have bad arthritis. It felt good on my skin and it relieved the pain I was in. It did what it says on the tube helped my shoulders to relax. I liked how it doesn't have an overpowering smell, the cream has a light calming fragrance. The 50g tube is enough to last a while as just a small amount is all it takes to take away the pain. The application is easy and smooth on the skin and soaks in easily. The smell is more herbal and less obvious than other brands I&rsquo;ve tried before. The gentle warming effect started quickly and lasted for hours which really helped ease my shoulder pain. Tried this product after my evening exercises and shower- and this makes a nice relaxation before bed. Even though it is shoulder and neck cream I tend to put it on other areas that are tensed too and relief is great. Also - I really liked the herbal smell of the product that is definitely a big benefit.
